Best Thing I Never Had

So, I was looking around for a theme song for Swiftbreeze, and it suddenly struck me that this song was a literal fit for the relationship between the two. Swiftbreeze and Rainsplash. It seriously works perfectly, almost creepily. After Swiftbreeze had fled Riverclan when it was taken over, Rainsplash had refused to go and even went so far as to call her cruel things for fleeing. She went to Windclan, who took her in. Later, Rainsplash fell in love with a warrior in Riverclan named Badgerleap. Well, Badgerleap ended up dying, and he was forced to leave Riverclan or else die due to him siding with the sickly Badgerleap that would have been killed by the new Dark Code. Afterwards, he made his way to Windclan where Swiftbreeze was settling in quite nicely. He begged for her forgiveness, and she denied him it, slashed him across the face (which later scars) and told him to leave and that he wasn't welcome in Windclan. That was the last she saw of him.

Swiftbreeze doesn't have any regrets over her decision to cut him out her life. She had loved him, and then he'd betrayed her in several ways. Her new clan was more kind to her then her birth clan ever had, and he'd acted like he deserved it because of what happened to him. 

He was the best thing she never had.
